Newborn Loses Faith In Humanity

In a turn of events that has stunned the worldwide medical community, local infant Nathan Jameson, born just six days ago, has become the youngest person ever to permanently and irrevocably lose all faith in humanity.

“This shatters all previous records,” University of Chicago psychologist Douglas McAllister said Monday. “In all of documented medical history, there is no case of a newborn taking less than four months to develop the mental faculties required to grasp the full extent of this existential nightmare we call life on earth.”

Poem

Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree;

And only God who makes the tree

A Geologic Timescale For Creationists

Creationism, or the set of beliefs claiming that the universe, Earth, and all of its inhabitants were created by a deity less than 10,000 years ago (the “young earth” variety), is scientifically untenable. We have no evidence to suggest that the Earth is so young, or that organisms have persisted in their present form since time’s beginning.

It is interesting then, to take the creationist position and compare it to the scientific one, to see just how divergent the conclusions are. Granted, the creationist position does not accept the timeline proposed by geology, biology, and archaeology, substituting a more “pop into existence” approach. But what if the Earth were only 6,000 years old? How would it’s history scale down?

The Resurrection

The pastor of this church had called all of the little children to the front of the church, dressed in their cute Easter outfits and had them sit around him. He said “Today is Easter and you all look so handsome and beautiful. Today we’re going to talk about the resurrection. Does anyone know what the resurrection is?
One little boy raised his hand, and the pastor said “Please tell us what the resurrection is”.

The boy, proud that he knew the answer, said in a clear loud voice, “When you get one lasting more than four hours, you gotta call a doctor!”
