The Results Are In

The 2009 National Bible Bee Results Are In

On November 4-6, 300 contestants gathered in Washington, D.C. for the first annual National Bible Bee, a motivating Bible memory competition for children and youth from 7 to 18 years of age. Nine contestants emerged as contest winners.

A total of $260,000 in prize money was awarded. Daniel Staddon (Salem, WV) walked away with the top prize, $100,000.

Organizers say that the National Bible Bee is much more than a competition - that at its core, it is all about encouraging young people to memorize the Scriptures so that they may learn, speak, and live out their Christian faith.

Imagine

Now What?

Now what? What do we do when we get to Heaven? Do we live in a reality of our own or do we associate with others like we do here? I have not heard much about what people think Heaven is like.

"It eventually could just be the same as hell, spending an eternity of nothing. Of course, in heaven, you could just press a button that would make you happy or something."

Tools

Prehistoric Stone Hammers. Not!

First they learn to use our tools, then they come in and take all of our jobs. And then they’ll want healthcare. Between the monkeys and the bloodthirsty robots, I feel disrespected as a hardworking American.
