Image of the Creation on a Piece Toast

This genuine picture was photographed in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, England by atheist scientist Dr. Terence Meaden earlier this month.

He could barely withhold his excitement.

“I was having breakfast when this piece of ciabatta toast got burnt,” he said. “Suddenly I was aware that the pattern of light and darkness across the toast resembled what could have been a visible manifestation of primeval events at the time that planet Earth was forming four and a half billion years ago.

Can I get an Amen?

Three good arguments that Jesus was...

There were 3 good arguments that Jesus was Black:
  1. He called everyone brother.
  2. He liked Gospel.
  3. He didn’t get a fair trial.
But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was Jewish:
  1. He went into His Father’s business.
  2. He lived at home until he was 33.
  3. He was sure his Mother was a virgin and his Mother was sure He was God.
But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was Italian:
  1. He talked with His hands.
  2. He had wine with His meals.
  3. He used olive oil.
But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was a Californian:
  1. He never cut His hair.
  2. He walked around barefoot all the time.
  3. He started a new religion.
But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was an American Indian:
  1. He was at peace with nature.
  2. He ate a lot of fish.
  3. He talked about the Great Spirit.
But then there were 3 equally good arguments that Jesus was Irish:
  1. He never got married.
  2. He was always telling stories.
  3. He loved green pastures.
But the most compelling evidence of all – 3 proofs that Jesus was a woman:
  1. He fed a crowd at a moment’s notice when there was virtually no food.
  2. He kept trying to get a message across to a bunch of men who just didn’t get it.
  3. And even when He was dead, He had to get up because there was still work to do.

there’s no worry about me changing to vanilla

Homosexuality Is Like Choosing An Ice Cream Flavor

WEST: You cannot compare me and my race to a behaviour. Sexuality is a behaviour. And so yeah, I said, I cannot change my color. People can change their sexual behavior. And I’ve seen people do that. You know, I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, so I’ve seen a very different perspective on human behaviours. So that’s where I’m coming from with that…

Q: Do you think gay people should change their behavior?

WEST: I like chocolate chip ice cream, and I will continue to like chocolate chip ice cream. So there’s no worry about me changing to vanilla. I like to, you know, ride my motorcycle. What do you want me to do? You want me to change my behavior and ride a scooter? I’m not into that.

We Are Never Crushed

A survey conducted on behalf of the American Bible Society found that 63 percent incorrectly believed that a verse found in 2 Corinthians was actually a quote from either Martin Luther King Jr., former President George W. Bush, or the patriotic superhero, Captain America.

The verse in question was 2 Corinthians 4:8, which in the Contemporary English Version reads, "We often suffer, but we are never crushed. Even when we don't know what to do, we never give up."

Most of that group credited to quote to Martin Luther King Jr. And in another recent survey that was probably made up, 75% of respondents attributed the quote "You think this letter on my head stands for France?" to Bibleman.
